Creativity
Creativity is important for children especially during their early development. Art activities engage your child’s senses in open-ended play and develop cognitive, social-emotional and multi-sensory skills.
The manipulation of small art materials develops small motor control. This is the control of small hand muscles and hand and eye coordination. Good small motor control helps to improve how the child holds and controls a pencil and so supports Literacy.
Creativity is not limited to making things. Music and movement allow children to express themselves in other ways.
